This song starts off wonderfully, the harpsichord intro is absolutely amazing. I loved it, very very well done.
The introduction of guitars and drums was well pulled off also, and then when part b comes in, the solos are belted out. Killer lead lines man! Both harpsichord and guitar play some great leads, it was almost perfect. A few little parts I think could have been better (like the sweeps at bar 44, something wasn't spot on, but it was a good idea anyway).
PArt c switches a bit awkwardly, but I think it's just because your fadeout is much too quick. Try making the fadeout longer, I think it would sound better... it cuts off a bit too quickly for my tastes.
That being said, the mood set in part C is awesome, great stuff. The dynamic play is excellent, and it makes the entire part very very eerie. The riff that comes in at bar 93 is mint, great stuff. Reminds me a bit of Beckill's distorted, staccato riffing.
Part D is a great little bridge, I really enjoy the classical feel you input into the song, well done yet again. Introduces Part B back into the song very well, and it makes the entire song stick in your head. Excellent way to make the song cohesive.
This piece is nearly flawless, honestly one of my favorite pieces I've ever heard from any composer. It's very original, keep at it!
Final rating will come when all songs are submitted.

You made a real authentic harpischord track in part A. Reminds me some renaissance stuff. well made and sounding. I can´t say to like the lead guitar very much in part B (though second half is better) but you let the distortion sound raise very solid. Btw you made overall a pretty good work mixing the sound with nice effects and stuff.
Best part for me is part C. A fucking great riffing, also including the quarter bends. Really awesome man.
I must confess I was a bit disapointed that you returned to the harpischord stuff after that part. The return is of course well made and the circle´s closed, but as said I hoped you would march forward instead of returning to the previous parts.
Nontheless it´s indeed a very good composition, very well made instrumental lines, especially the harpischord, and you made a good job arranging everything.
So it´s for me a very solid 4 star rating.
BTW: your drumtabbing is kinda unclearly arranged. I understand your system but as drummer it must be hell to play after

Thanks for all your comments, very interesting and helpful and constructive.
@Gagnonov : could you send me a midi file of "He Who Lighteth The Sky" cause my GP 5.0 can't read it.
And sorry for the drummers : I totally agree my drumpart is unclear, but it's beacause i compose with tabledit, and then i import it to Guitar Pro. So I've to re-tab all my parts, and the drum one is the most boring to re-tab...

pretty original stuff, I loved especially part C which was very powerful and creative.
Part B sounds good at the beginning but the rest of this part is a bit boring.
Globally I think the drums could have been better but you gave explanation about that...

Fantastic! I created this account just to comment on this piece.
The harpsichord part in the beginning was brilliant, I hope you compose much more music in that style.
The song is very playable, and it sounds great to boot. I only wonder what a gifted singer could do with it.
I also thought the dissonant guitars fading in and out was very original, I've never seen an actual band do that before, I think it'd be an interesting idea to try.

Aww, what did poor Nadja do to you, you monster? ;] It opens up sinister enough with the harpsichord, evoking the grimmer side of baroque music, but the part starts getting old really quick and I am semi-asleep by the time the harpsichord fades back into obscurity. Part B doesn't help much either, it feels like neo-classical minus the classical (Malmsteen, can you believe I'm actually missing you? For the first, and hopefully last, time in my life...), it falls flat on its face and doesn't do anything really. And then... whoa, whoa, what the hell was that?! Part C is, without a doubt, insanely magnificent, and had me drooling. Beautiful stuff... fantastic build up, all the sinister layers, just fucking flawless, I love it so mu... ey where'd it go?! And the magic gets shattered by the harpsichord and painfully bland neo-classical returning. Goddamit. One thing you may want to know – harpsichords had no dynamic control. *sighs* what do I do with you... I'll subtract a star and a half for the weak parts, okay?
